We install your Hive kit, wire and test the heating and hot-water controls where applicable, and pair the app. You supply the kit; we include local connection cable and small fittings. Heating-only control for combi boilers. Serving Greater London and areas within the M25, with a demonstration before we leave.

What’s Included
- Fitting your Hive thermostat and receiver, as appropriate for your kit, and disconnecting the previous thermostat where it is being replaced
- Heating and hot-water control wiring, connection and testing are included in the installation price where your system and Hive kit support them. For a combi boiler, this normally means heating control only.
- Suitable heat-resistant 0.75 mm² three-core or five-core cable, or suitable wiring leads supplied with your kit, as needed for short local connections near the boiler or existing controls
- Small installation fittings such as wall plugs, cable sleeving, wiring links, Wago connectors and terminal blocks, as required. The materials fitted remain with your installation.
- Connecting your Hive hub and pairing the thermostat, receiver and Hive app
- Setting up heating schedules and preferences
- Testing the controls and showing you how to use them
Before Your Visit
This is an installation-only service. Please have your Hive thermostat, suitable receiver, Hive hub and any required accessories, internet connection and app login ready. We’ll need access to the boiler and existing controls. If you’re unsure which equipment you need, send us a photo of your boiler and controls before booking.Optional Extras
Tell us before booking if you also need Hive Radiator Valves fitted or new heating zones created. We’ll check the equipment and agree any additional work and cost beforehand. Heating and hot-water control wiring for the thermostat installation is already included.Where We Cover

We install customer-supplied Hive thermostats with a suitable receiver. App control also needs a compatible Hive hub, an internet connection and access to your Hive account.
Heating-only and heating-and-hot-water installations depend on your boiler, existing controls and receiver. For a system with a hot-water cylinder, the kit must support separate hot-water control. The associated control wiring is included in the installation price.
OpenTherm depends on the exact Hive receiver and a compatible combi boiler; it is not available with every kit. Send us photos of your boiler, current controls and Hive kit if you are unsure what is suitable.
