Booking Terms

Booking a slot here isn’t a contact form — it’s a live appointment. The moment you confirm, an engineer’s time is reserved for you and that slot is no longer available to anyone else. We need you to be able to commit to it.

What you’re agreeing to

  • We’ll arrive within your chosen window: AM 8am–12pm or PM 12pm–5pm.
  • We’ll send confirmation by email shortly after you book. If you don’t see it, check spam first, then call us on 020 3146 6414.
  • You’ll provide reasonable access — somewhere we can park, an adult on site, and clear access to your boiler/heating controls.

If plans change

Late changes & no-shows

We’re a small team. When you book, we block that slot and turn away other customers for it. If things go wrong on the day, the cost to us is real: fuel and time to travel, plus the lost work from a slot we couldn’t fill.

That’s why we have to charge for late changes:

  • More than 24 hours’ notice: no charge. Move it, cancel it, no questions.
  • Cancellation within 24 hours of the slot: 50% of the booking value. We’ve still lost the slot but might recover some of the fuel/time.
  • No-show, no access, or unable to start the work on the day: full booking value. By that point we’ve driven there, can’t fill the slot, and the loss is the same as if the work happened.

This isn’t about catching you out — it’s so we can keep our prices fair for the people who do turn up. If you’re paying cash on the day, you’re still agreeing to these charges if any of the above applies, and we may invoice you separately.

Payment

  • Pay online now — you’ve paid up front; refunds follow the rules above.
  • Send me an order link — we’ll email a payment link once we’ve confirmed compatibility. The slot is still yours.
  • Pay cash on the day — works fine, but you’re still committing to a live booking. Any charges above apply.

Compatibility

We do our best to confirm compatibility before we arrive based on the details you provide. If we get there and your setup isn’t compatible with what you booked, we’ll explain the options and only charge for the work we actually do (or, if no work is possible, a small call-out fee covering fuel/time).
